I did some quick research this morning and found what appears to be a good waterproof case for the iPhone 5. It allows full functionality including use of the camera as well as communication via voice.

I did not buy this waterproof case for the talking feature, but mainly for waterproofness as well as camera use to capture stills and video of the kids and possibly on wetter photography trips.

I am writing this post on my blog with my iPhone 5 after a long afternoon at Great America’s Boomerang Bay Water Park. It was under water for several minutes, splashed on, and dipped. We are home now and my iPhone functions perfectly. I am typing thru the protective screen without much issues as other people have reported. The camera function was perfect and the video above was stellar and below water seemed to be good. I don’t think Steve Jobs intended for the iPhone to be used underwater! So far so good! I just have to come to grips with the $80 price tag! Of course, $80 is way cheaper than a new iPhone 5 64GB!

Enclosed is a video taken with the case on above and below water.

Let me know what you think! Or if you have any questions.
