My photog buddy, Ken A, and I ventured off to Queen’s Bath in hopes for a good sunset picture. October isn’t quite the best time to go to Kauai in terms of where the sun sets.

It was an easy, but slippery hike to Queen’s Bath.

I managed to capture this picture. It took some patience trying to get the good wave splash. Unfortunately when I was shooting some pics, I dropped my ND Grad filter onto the lava rocks. Instant scratches on the Singh-Ray filter resin. Write that off!

It is nice scene and the next time I will try to jump into the bath!
