I had a chance to revisit one site where my photography started. Back in 2008, my family and I took a vacation to Ka’anapali, Maui, Hawaii. I had my D300 with the Tokina 11-16mm lens. I originally shot this pic with just 2 palm trees and 2 pictures stitched together. It was cool and all, but in the end it was kinda dull. I like the colors of this one better and now my D800 with better equipment has allowed me to take this picture. I didn’t have time to edit out all those people in the picture. BTW, they were annoying and didn’t give a crap that I was taking pictures. Oh well. Gotta share the space.
