Today we celebrated Hayley’s 4th Birthday. We had it at Accel Gymnastics in Burlingame. We celebrated early because she is leaving for London for most of the summer this year.
Some of her preschool classmates came to help celebrate and have some fun. In the end, it was jumping into the foam cube pit was the most fun.
As usual, Julie out did herself with the Frozen Theme! The little gift boxes were well thought out and very cool! Job well done!
We headed to San Francisco to go to the Exploratorium, however the Exploratorium is closed on Mondays. Bummer because the crowds would be less on Mondays!
In the end we started to walk around the embarcadero area and then later caught the cable car. The cable car guy thought we were tourists. He eventually asked where we were from. I told him San Mateo. Of course I told him after he let us ride for free!!! hahahahaha!
I took the morning off to attend Matthew’s last day of Kindergarten. I managed a good picture of him and his teacher, Ms. Kruger. She is a wonderful teacher and my son learned a lot! Thanks Ms. Kruger!
The school year is coming to a close and Highland’s Elementary School had an activity day. I unfortunately didn’t get many photos of the activities because I had volunteered to help out guide the kids.
Here are a few pictures of Matthew in his class with adopted pre-K student, Hayley!
Today was Highlands Elementary School’s Walk/Jog-A-Thon. It was a nice morning!
There were jumpy jumps that the kids had to go on. There were several tables and booths people were selling things. The snow cones were a hit. Because we had to leave by 12 noon, we didn’t get to see the food trucks come in. Cal Fire was there and was setting up a BBQ. It would be quite an awesome day if one stayed all day!
Then the walk/jog-a-thon began. They first started with the TK and K grades then 1st and 2nd grades together. I don’t remember how long, but it seemed like they ran for 30 minutes each. Matthew did a fantastic job running most of the time. When we left, he had the most number of check marks on his number tag. 42 in all! Way to go! To say the least, he was sweaty!
I took pictures of Matthew’s other classmates that I recognized. Then we hung out with Ty and his family.
If you want any of the pictures, please email me. Here is a link to the photos.
