We revisited the Aquarium on the Bay. It is a small aquarium, but they have a cool underwater tunnel that is quite long.
We parked at UCSF Mission Bay campus and took the Muni in. Hayley was wearing this gem chain as you will see in a few of the photos.
I’ve been really liking the 70-200mm f/4 lens. I used it for this set of photos.
Since it feels like Spring/Summer during this very dry winter, we decided to get the kids out and do some biking at our favourite place, Abbott Middle School.
I was experimenting with bokeh using my newer lens, my 70-200 f/4. I think it does a fairly decent job! I like them. Most of the pictures were shot at 200mm.
We had a great day at the zoo. It wasn’t too hot nor was it too cold. This winter has proven to be very dry and very warm!
They recently built a play structure/park inside. The kids had a blast there, especially on the swings.
Christmas with the Chin side was at my Auntie Kathy’s house in Burlingame.
It was an especially good one because one of my late cousin’s family drove up from LA to visit. It was good to see the two boys and their little girl. Their little girl was our flower girl at our wedding. It was good to see that they were growing up to be great young adults.
It seems like the family is still expanding. My cousin, Eric, and his wife are expecting their 2nd child in the Spring 2014. A marriage hasn’t happened within our family for a little while, but there are some younger cousins that are getting close, so we hear.
I had to use my 14-24mm lens, and at the edges it does create some distortion. It was a great back yard space with some good looking trees in the back ground to filter out some of the sun.
Ho Ho Ho!
