My cousin and I went out to the Berkeley Pier in hopes to take some cool sunset photos. In the end, I think it was a bust. There were a bunch of seagulls hanging out on the part of the pier that is not maintained. It was a bit windy out there. I mostly used the Nikkor 80-400 f/4.5-5.6 VR III that I rented for the weekend. I did get to try out my Nikkor 14-24 and use my custom build filter holder. It did perform like my old Cokin P filter system. Because of the size of the Nikkor 14-24mm lens, I am now using the Cokin X-Pro filter system and 130mm x 170 Singh-Ray ND Grad Filters.

These were the best ones.
